On Molokai stay at Molokai Shores 207

“Slow Down. You are in Molokai” says the sign as one exits the airport.  Welcome to an island with no stoplights, fast food chains and other elements of the commercial world.  To enhance a stay rent Molokai Shores 207.  The owners of the
lovely condo have thought of everything a visitor needs for a relaxing stay including thoughtful items like snorkel equipment, lawn chairs, and internet. The kitchen has everything. The view of the grounds are serene. There is a swimming pool, putting course, and a Laundromat. Enjoy a libation on the balcony or curl up with a good book.

There is a supermarket just a few miles down the road but keep in mind that mplaces are closed on Sunday. The roads are great if you stay on the paved ones and if you see three vehicles at one time then it is a Molokai traffic jam. If you don’t want to cook on Sunday
there is always the Pizza Place.  During the day should you feel the urge to drive about head to the lookout point where there are great views of the sea cliffs and Kalaupapa, the former leper colony. Or go hiking in the Halawa Valley.  There are plenty of things to do on Molokai but take your time and enjoy the world like it was 50 years ago.

Safari Explorer is the best way to see Hawaii

The crew provides luxury service from pickup at the airport to drop off at the airport. The ship plies the waters between Molokai and Kona on the Big Island with stops in Maui and Lanai. In between there are gourmet meals, fun shore trips and amazing water adventures.

The upscale accommodations with large outside viewing windows have beds with comfy Temper-
Pedic mattresses. Rooms have iPod docking station, robe/slippers, and turndown service with a good night chocolate treat. Suites are available. During the day the adventures are varied and continuous. Snorkel with the manta rays, sea turtles and other denizens of the sea. Go kayaking, paddle boarding, or take a leap off the diving
platform or, just relax on the top deck where there is a large hot tub and sauna.  Visit coastal towns on Maui and Lanai to learn local history and do a bit of shopping.  On Molokai take a day trip to the Halawa valley, the oldest know inhabited place in the Hawaiian Islands, that includes meeting a family that can trace their family line back 50 generations. Learn about traditional culture that starts with
the blowing of the conch shell announcing the arrival of guests, make the traditional offering of gifts, and the honi (traditional greeting by touching forehead and nose with the host). The prefect family condo on Oahu

Oahu is the perfect destination for the family or a group of friends.  Consider renting a condo. It saves money and allows the group to bond and enjoy one another.  A reasonable condo in the quiet town of Laie is Hale Pili Lani which means “close to heaven” in Hawaiian.

Hale Pili Lani sleeps 8 to 10 comfortably. One room has a separate entrance and sitting area with a private bathroom.  The master suite on the lower level has a private entrance, ocean front lanai. The other accommodations are on the main level – three bedrooms and one bath.  The kitchen, dining room and sitting area with a vaulted ceiling are all open and connected making it a great family gathering area. The house is well supplied with all one needs to prepare meals.  Plus there are water toys that may be borrowed. A washer and dryer make it great for a family.

Hale Pili Lani is located so that even though there are houses nearby its location on the rise about the ocean surrounded by trees makes it feel private and isolated.  The view of the ocean with the waves rolling in and the nearby beach are excellent. A beach is within walking distance and so a point with a great view and it a good fishing spot.

The house offers quick access to the restaurants, shopping, the Polynesia Cultural Center and the trendy North Shore.
