After 100 years the Shelburne is still the place to stay

The Shelburne Inn in Seaview on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula has been the preferred place to stay since 1896 making it the oldest continuously operating hotel in the State of Washington. It is a true American classic boutique hotel that has been lovely cared for by its owners, David Campiche and Laurie Anderson. Everything from the service to the furnishings is top-notch. Rooms are highlighted with original art, period antiques and stained glass. Added modern comforts include wireless internet service throughout the building.
Each of the 14 guest rooms are furnished with fine period antiques from America, the UK and Europe. Artwork from the Innkeepers’ private collection dons the walls. Two suites are available plus two rooms conveniently located on the first floor have a private deck with access directly to the herb and flower garden. Freshly baked cookies waiting upon arrival are a nice added touch – just one of many.

The cuisine is superb from the complimentary breakfast to fine dining in the evening with a choice off fresh Willapa Bay oysters, Dungeness crab and local clams to a plethora of wild mushrooms and berries. For a before-or-after dinner libation or for a lighter bite to eat guests can relax in the Shelburne Pub. The Shelburne Restaurant’s wine list was the recipient of the “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” for 2012.

Shelburne Inn is a member of Select Registry and Unique Inn, both of which only accept properties of the highest quality. The most difficult thing about the Shelburne is saying good bye! For more information check theshelburneinn.com.
